The IGG National Esports League (NEL) represents the most inclusive tier of the ecosystem, catering to the general public and independent teams across Malaysia. By removing institutional barriers, the NEL acts as a massive “open qualifier” that ensures no talent goes unnoticed, regardless of their background.

It is the primary engine for community engagement and regional representation, fostering a competitive spirit nationwide. This league strengthens the national talent pool by providing a formal structure for independent players to prove their consistency and earn a spot in the elite championship tiers.

The NEL serves as a broader, more intensive competitive tier for the general public, featuring a hybrid delivery model and a wide variety of gaming titles. NEL utilizes both Online Mode and Offline Mode. This hybrid approach allows for wide reaching participants across region for Online Mode while the Offline Mode features a unique Grand Tour structure which involves regional legs (North, Central, South, East and Borneo) that culminate in a physical “Games Festival,” providing players with the experience of a live arena atmosphere.

The league features a high volume of competition, totaling 12 series (6 Online and 6 Offline). This schedule is designed to test the endurance and adaptability of competitive players / teams.
